Nina Mooncie

Nina is an Illustrator who moved from Brighton to Eastbourne to raise her children in a calmer environment surrounded by nature where they enjoy woodland walks and days at the beach.

Nina trained as a Graphic Designer in her birth country of Germany. After studying Illustration at post graduate level in Brighton she worked for small Graphic Design companies. When life became busy as a mum of two she started her own Illustration studio “Illustration by Nina.”

Nina works in different media, like screen printing, linocut and paper collage, all combined with computerised drawing tools. Nina’s style plays with vibrant colours and patterns and has a playful approach to making shapes. Her work can be seen every year at the Brighton Open Houses and at Craft Fairs throughout East Sussex.
